Description: You have a Honda Fit or Honda Jazz with serial number starting with “GD1” (check under the hood)? You have an automatic transmission (a CVT)? You currently notice a “shuddering” when starting to drive? This could be due to your starting clutch and you should typically change your CVT-Fluid on a regular basis as per Honda’s recommendation. Problem is, the regular change of the CVTF is costly and does not always solve the shuddering problem, as you might have noticed already. For sure, it did not help on my very own Honda Fit which was built in 2004, that I bought in 2008 and that was since than in maintenance with Honda. So, I investigated in the internet about this particular, apparently quite common problem and I finally ordered a very specific oil additive from California, USA.
